Angel Martinez

The story behind the story in automotive racing.

THE SHOW

Chas'n Grip is a podcast hosted by Angel Martinez that takes a more personable approach to automotive racing. The goal is to go past the results and get to the story behind the story.

Guests are current and former race car athletes from the ARCA Menard Series, NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA, including owners of race car teams.

Each episode covers the behind-the-scenes talking points: post-race action, frustrations, penalties, and what drivers think about the improvements they've made throughout the season. Every week, Chas'n Grip keeps you in the driver's seat with all the racing action.

THE NETWORK

Angel founded Coastal Sports Digital Network to create a new kind of sports media platform: one that is entirely digital and brings fans closer to the action.

Angel has spent the last several years working in media, bringing listeners the best interviews and conversations with athletes, coaches, and owners. The goal is to let people express themselves truthfully, without holding back their feelings or intentions.

WHAT SETS IT APART

• More personable

Conversations that put the people of racing first, so listeners hear the story behind the story.

• All digital

Built from the start as a digital platform, with no legacy media model to work around.

• Closer to the action

Fans get nearer to the racing they love than traditional sports coverage usually allows.
